BFS is a 24 hr licensed residential treatment facility/grouphome for individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities.

•BFS has a fully qualified team, consisting of a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Registered Nurse, and fully trained staff that are present on a daily basis. Our vision has always been focused on providing a family setting for or individuals and families. The owners are hands on daily providing Residential Care.
Financial Needs
Individuals we serve are mainly supported under Virginia’s Medicaid Waiver program. You will be responsible to pay a monthly fee for room and board. Payee services will be available for those that require additional assistance with managing their incomes.
Social & Recreational
Our trained staff will assist our residents with learning the variety of skills needed to live successfully within the community. Residents will learn housekeeping skills, money management and shopping skills, and establishing and maintaining relationships as appropriate.
Training in Life Skills
Staff will assist the residents with identifying activities of interest in the community so they have an opportunity for socialization outside of the home. A social calendar will be available for additional opportunities to attend various events and activities.
Years of Experience
BFS has been operating in Central, Virginia since 2009. Owners and staff are fully trained under DBHDS regulations. We have a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Registered Nurse on staff.

We provide a safe and homely environment for staff and individuals. We’re located on a cul-de-sac with a 6ft privacy fenced in backyard.

Tipton house is located in Chesterfield VA. Our facility is on a cul-de-sac in a quiet neighborhood and a well-lit environment. Tipton also provides a large backyard with a 6ft privacy fence.

Visitation can always be arranged with the family and BFS at the family’s request.
